Movie Review: The Hobbit

Before I saw the movie I had no idea what the Hobbit was even going to be about.
I thought that it would be this hobbit who goes on an adventure.
But there's a whole lot more.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 169 min
Stars: Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen

This movie was filmed in 48fps, that's really awesome and I wanted to see the movie like that.
But my theater only had the normal 24fps so I guess I'll have to wait for another movie to see it like that.
Anyways I never read any of the Lord of the Rings books and I haven't read the Hobbit.
Even though I've seen all the movies.
And the Lord of the Rings movies I was a fan of!
And even though people are saying that this movie has it's flaws so they give it a lower grade, I really liked this movie.
I mean it was just so enjoyable!
But before we get into that, the plot.
The plot in this movie is that a long time ago this dragon took over the Dwarves town or village or something.
And so they have all their gold in there and they want it back so a group of Dwarves, Gandalf (a wizard) and Bilbo (a hobbit) go and try to get it back.
So let's start off with the good things about this movie.
As I said before this movie is really enjoyable.
The whole way through the movie I was really enjoying it and having a good time.
This movie is long, and you don't want to be stuck in a theater with a really long boring movie on.
Fortunately I wasn't.
I was into it the whole time and I never drowsed off like in other movies. (Lincoln)
Another great thing about this movie were the characters.
All the characters in this movie were really unique and really fun to watch in their own way.
Some were goofy, some were serious, some were wise and some were just clueless at moments.
All I know is that they were all funny.
And the action in this movie was awesome!!!
The little dwarves were stabbing people with their swords and it was so fun to watch!
And the humor in this movie was great.
It wasn't laugh out loud humor, it was mostly chuckle humor but it always made the movie a little more fun and bright.
And even though in the beginning of this movie nothing really that exciting is happening.
I liked the beginning because it really introduced the movie and it got me all happy for the rest of it.
Anyways now I've got to talk about the bad stuff.
In the movie there were a lot of characters.
And it seemed like all the characters had their one little part in the movie but it didn't seem like it was enough.
I felt like I wasn't that interacted with the characters in the movie.
I thought I would get 1 minute of them talking and then never hear them again for the rest of the movie.
And also in the movie it seemed like the story line would go off balance places.
It seemed like people were getting into fights and other things for no reason.
They probably mentioned it once in the movie why this thing that is happening is happening and then when the time comes when it's important you're totally clueless.
And there was one character in this movie that really disappointed me.
And it's name is Gollum.
In the past 3 movies I loved Gollum.
He was nice but evil at the same time and I really liked that.
But in this movie it seems like he's just evil and crazy.
If there's no back and forth between his bad side and his good side there's not really any thing special about him to me.
He just seemed like the mad annoying creature on screen.
I kind of wanted to move on whenever I saw him on screen.
Anyways in all i would recommend this movie to anyone who has read the books by J. R. R. Tolkien and anyone who loves fantasy.

Movie Review: Lincoln

I heard that every adult in the world absolutely loved this  movie.
I tried to act like them, think like them, but I can't!!
This movie was so boring!

Rating: PG-13
Time: 150 min
Stars: Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field

This movie was really long.
And it wasn't an action or a comedy, it was a drama.
And also it was based on a true historical moment so you already knew everything that was going to happen!
Sure there were some funny moments but most of it was long and boring to me.
I didn't know what Abe Lincoln was like before this movie.
Then I heard that Daniel Day-Lewis studied everything about Abe Lincoln and WOW!!
I did not imagine him like that.
Anyways the plot in this movie is that slavery's still legal and it's the end of the Civil War and Abe Lincoln wants to get rid of slavery and so many people disagree.
Anyways let's start off with what I did like about the movie.
The acting in this movie was amazing!!!
Everyone was giving it all on the field.
I heard from everyone else that Daniel Day-Lewis did an amazing job as Lincoln and he did.
He will definitely be nominated for an Oscar for his performace.
And Sally Field also did an amazing job.
She made the movie seem a little more realistic and she will also be nominated for an Oscar as well.
But Tommy Lee Jones in this movie was great to me!!
He was the character that funny and smart at the same time, and when you're watching a movie like this you need someone like that to cheer it up.
Tommy Lee Jones was very funny in this movie no matter how scary his face looked!!
Another thing I liked was when in the times of the movie when it wasn't boring it was very interesting!
I was really into it and it sometimes felt like I was really there experiencing the moment in real life.
And in the scene where they're voting for the law even though I knew what was going to happen I was still biting my nails.
And for the people who like politics you'll be very interacted with the movie the whole time.
Either you'll be nodding your head or quietly clapping your hands.
And now the bad things.
As I said before this movie was SO BORING!!!
They had scenes where two men were talking quietly and calmly and then it was supposed to be important!
If you want to make something seem important don't act like two normal people talking to each other.
Sometimes I zoned out and just started thinking about other things and I was more interested.
And also as I said before this movie was long!!
I was wondering how much was longer 30 minutes into the movie.
And the movie was based on a historical event that probably everyone knows.
And even though I got to admit they did a pretty good film to everyone else about something that already happened, it just made me more bored.
The whole movie I was waiting for the part SPOILER ALERT (I GUESS?) when Lincoln gets shot in the head.
All that happens is that a man runs up on stage in a totally different theater and says, "The president's been shot!"
Anyways I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes politics. (NOT KIDS!)

Movie Review: Life of Pi

Instead of falling in love with the tiger, I would've just killed it when I had the chance.
More food for me.

Rating: PG
Time: 127 min
Stars: Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan

When the tigers not looking I would just stab him or something.
I wouldn't do it if I weren't stranded on a boat of course.
But if I was, then you gotta do what you gotta do.
There's actually a scene in this movie where the tiger can't get on the boat.
How the heck could someone mess that up unless they wanted to?
By the way, the tigers name is Richard Parker!
That is such an awesome name for a man slaughtering tiger!
Oh yeah, NOT.
But it does make the movie a whole lot more fun whenever the tigers name is called.
Anyways this is a movie review so let's get on to the movie.
So the plot in this movie is that a boy is stuck on a life boat with a tiger.
And so you know, he kind of wants to survive.
So let's start off with what went well in this movie.
First off the tiger's name is Richard Parker!
That is such a fun name for a tiger!
Even though it might be a little dull for a real life human.
No offense if you're name is Richard Parker.
And the 3D in this movie is great.
Usually I hate 3D but in this movie they do it so well!!
If you see this movie, see it in 3D, it makes it a whole lot better!
Now let's actually get off in to the movie.
When Pi finally gets set off into the water in the life boat the movie starts blooming.
The fun starts coming out and you're just enjoying it so much.
This movie has such an amazing unique plot that only a genius would make up.
But the plot could go either way.
It could be really boring story or a really entertaining fun one.
The book was obviously the entertaining one but the movie seemed like it would be kind of a bore.
Well I was wrong.
Very wrong.
Anyways another thing that was really well done in this movie was the cinematography.
It was so beautiful and shot so well that it made the movie brighter and even better.
The movie was beautiful.
And now the bad things about the movie.
The beginning part of the movie to me was a bore.
It seemed like the whole time you were impatient and you just wanted to get to the boat part in the trailer.
And in the beginning of the movie it keeps on  switching from Pi as young but then to Pi old telling the story to another person.
It was kind of annoying to me.
Fortunately it ended soon enough.
And the end of this movie I thought wasn't done well.
I thought they could've made the it more lively.
But it seemed like it was just plop, credits.
In both young Pi version and old Pi version.
And some of this movie seemed unrealistic to me.
It didn't seem like it was possible which makes me wonder if this was realistic fiction or just fiction.
Anyways I would recommend this movie everyone besides children 8 and under.
They say everything's good and the things they usually say are bad are actually amazing.
Score=7.5

Movie Review: Rise of the Guardians

Hold on a second, Santa Clause is Russian?

Rating: PG
Time: 97 min
Stars: Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman

I can imagine the Easter Bunny with an Australian accent, but who other then real Russians thinks that Santa Clause is Russian?
I just saw Life of Pi before I could get to this review so I'm not really into what I'm writing.
Anyways I'm going on a trip so the next movie will be Life of Pi but it will be a little delayed.
Anyways I'm reviewing this movie now so no more commotion and let's get right to it.
The plot in this movie is that there are these guardians who protect kids from bad things.
Anyways the Boogyman appears and he's like super powerful.
So the guardians have to stop him.
And now we got Rise of the Guardians.
Let's start off with the things that did work.
This movie is like the only movie coming out this Winter that's actually about Christmas.
Even though we got movies that are based in the Christmas season.
I would only call this a Christmas movie.
And I LOVE CHRISTMAS!
It's my favorite time of the year and my favorite holiday based movie genre.
So I came into this movie with a smile on my face.
The characters in this movie are all very funny and unique.
Santa Clause is this big dude who's very powerful but kind of clueless.
And he's also Russian which was fun to watch.
And the Easter Bunny was also very fun to watch.
He was very bossy and he thinks he's better then everyone.
And he has an Australian accent which is a giant bonus.
The Tooth Fairy, Jack Frost, The Sandman, The Boogyman and the other minor characters were also very fun and unique also.
Anyways another thing I liked about this movie was that each of these characters have like a tiny planet just for them and their holiday.
Santa Clause of course has the North Pole, but I mean like the Easter Bunny!
The Easter Bunny has the most awesome place ever!!
He has like these flowers that spit paint so that the eggs get colored.
AWESOME.
And the Tooth Fairy has her planet and of course the Boogyman had to have one.
Another thing I like about this movie was the scenery, you can't really find the scenes that they have in this movie in like any other movie.
The colors and the places that these things are is just amazing.
The fight scenes were good in this movie, they were cool, big and possibly I would even say epic.
And the humor in this movie was also good in a way.
It usually wasn't that funny to make a laugh but it made some chuckles.
And usually I wouldn't mention that in this movie but what was great about the humor was that it made you feel good.
Anyways what I didn't like about it.
Somewhere in the middle of the film the movie goes somewhere that I was surprised at and that I thought the movie wasn't and couldn't really go to.
Unfortunately I was right.
In the end of the movie that twist got ruined and thrown in the trash.
Another thing that I didn't like was how the kids reacted in this movie.
I thought that all the kids in the universe in this movie seemed a little how would you put it, impatient.
Of course they had to stop believing if the night you're tooth came out and you didn't get some prize.
The Tooth Fairy's right, she's superior to Santa because he delivers gifts to every kid one night per year, she does it everyday.
Anyways I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves Christmas.

Movie Review: Silver Linings Playbook

If a silver lining is so good, then why don't they call it a gold lining?

Rating: R
Time: 122 min
Stars: Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence

I was a little surprised by this movie.
The trailer looked really good, the movie looked really good, but usually when I see trailers for movies like this, they don't end out so great.
This one did.
I mean come on, Cooper with Lawrence and their both a little mental?!
That's gotta be great!
Oh and Chris Tucker is back too!
Rush Hour was awesome!
But seriously, when yo have an idea for a movie like this, directed by the director of The Fighter and other movies you have in store for an amazing movie.
Anyways the plot in this movie is that Pat (Cooper) just got out of mental institution and moves in with his parents.
He then tries to reunite with his ex-wife but soon he meats Tiffany (Lawrence) and then she starts to practically change his life.
Let's start with the good things about this movie.
This movie is just a great time.
The whole way through the movie you're having a good time and you're enjoying the film.
There are some moments in this movie where there are laughs and to tell you the truth, most of the time they're pretty funny.
The acting in this movie was great!
Bradley Cooper the whole way through seemed like he was giving it his all.
He looked well playing the part even when the genre may have had a change from humor to a little more drama.
Jennifer Lawrence in the movie is amazing because she is such a mixed character and she really does a good job.
You can see that she also has some problems when she changes her mood so fast but in a good way.
Robert De Niro is in this movie and he was probably the most fun character.
You can see that he also has a slight disorder with luck and the way things should be, but what matters most is that you can see that he is a crazy eagles fan and everyone should know it!
Chris Tucker was also great in this movie.
He had that funny but serious side to him that was just so fun to watch whenever he was on screen.
The chemistry between Cooper and Lawrence in this movie was amazing.
You could see that they were both helping each other as they started dancing and hanging out more.
Another thing that I liked about this movie was that it wasn't you're normal romance drama.
It had it's funny side to it, but a lot of movies have that.
This movie was unique.
I mean all the characters were different but they fit together like in a puzzle and it was great.
And the title for this movie was perfect.
Because this movie showed how they had a messed up past but some how they always found the silver lining.
Now the bad things.
Sometimes in the movie, either the comedy or some scenarios distracted me from the story of the movie and I can't say that it wasn't a bad thing because the comedy was good and the scenario was good but it was definitely a little distracting from the story.
That's the only minor flaw I can think of.
Other then that the movie was great and definitely time, the money and the travel to the theater.
Score= 8.5

Movie Review: Breaking Dawn - Part 2

Finally it's over!
This should really be a holiday.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 115 min
Stars: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson

What a wonderful day!
It's gone and everyone's going to forget about it in 10 days.
I feel like I can just fly!!!!
Anyways lets get to the dramatic part and away from the part I was just writing about.
So after 5 very long movies we end the Twilight saga off with a bang which leaves you mad.
(The bang is the fight scene.)
So let me start off saying that this was an okay movie compared to the other Twilight movies.
This was definitely my favorite Twilight movie, but that doesn't mean that the movie was that great.
I mean it was fun at some moments but at some others it was just plain dumb.
Anyways the plot in this movie is that Bella is now a vampire and she and Edward have a baby.
Anyways the Volturi thinks that the baby is evil so you know they go to the Cullens and all of the vampires they've bitten and you know, kill them.
Anyways let's start off with what did work in this movie.
At the end of this movie there is a fight scene and it is a fun fight scene!!!
Of course Twilight's not like other vampires with sunlight and garlic and a wooden stake to the heart.
So what I was wondering was like how do they kill each other and it turns out that it's pretty simple.
You just pop their heads off like that.
Anyways they could've made that a terrible fight scene but it was really fun and really entertaing and probably one of the best end of a movie fights I've seen in a movie this year.
If anybody goes to this movie and says that they didn't enjoy the fight scene minus the ending than they are really really crazy!!
Another thing I liked in the movie was when they were recruiting all of these other vampires and what was cool about that was that they all had their own kind of power I would say because I guess the people who made this movie were out of good ideas to make it good so they added all these random unique powers to each vampire to make the viewers more interested.
Another thing that was great in this movie was the scenery.
All of the places and the way the shoot at those places are really kind of nice.
I love winter and christmas is my favorite holiday so when they shoot the fight scene at the end in the snow no only is it awesome but it's also in a very nice place.
Now what I didn't like.
In every Twilight movie there's always sappy drama and sappy romance and in this movie it is no difference.
They still have those crazy love moments and that absurd writing.
The acting in this movie is the same as every other movie, Kristen Stewart still looks like she has her nose in dog poop the whole time.
And the beginning of this movie I didn't like.
The people who made this movie have to know that their last movie didn't end off with a bang like the first part of Harry Potter 7.
People knew that in Harry Potter Voldemort just got Dumbledore's wand and that it was amazing.
I still don't know what happened at the end of Breaking Dawn Part 1.
She had her baby, was that the last scene?
Did anything happen after that?
So it got me confused in the beginning and the part where she's doing all this vampire stuff in the beginning just made mad.
What I also didn't like in this movie was the ending to the fight scene.
It's a really good fight scene but than they add a twist that just ruins the whole entire thing.
And something that is so obvious and so terrible in this movie was the kid.
For half of this movie this kid was TOTALLY CGI!!!
No one can look at that kid while baby and think that it was a real baby.
So what we have here is an okay movie, with an amazing fight scene that has a terrible twist ending with a terrible CGI baby.
Not any better than Flight but also not any worse.
I'd recommend this movie to anyone who is a Twilight fan
Score=6.5

P.S. The running in this poster looks like garbage.

Movie Review: Skyfall

The name's Bond, James Bond.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 143 min
Stars: Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem

So I've seen all of the Daniel Craig James Bond movies but not any others.
Everyone said Casino Royale was amazing but I thought it was okay.
Everyone said Quantam of Solace was terrible, I thought it was worse than Casino Royale but no anything to make that much fuss about.
And than there was Skyfall and everyone says it was amazing and I am here to confirm that answer.
It has the best action of the movies, the best villain and so many more better things.
Anyways the plot in this movie is that James Bond is dead I guess and then some terrorist starts tormenting MI6 and so James Bond comes back and of course has to save the day as always.
It's a great movie, one of the best actions of the year and HERE-IS-WHY.
Let's start off with Daniel Craig.
In this movie he is one of the best James Bonds I think anyone has seen.
He is slick and smooth no matter if he's facing a whole bunch of people with a rusty shotgun.
He makes everything hard look easy and he does that in a good way.
Daniel Craig's relationship with Judi Dench in this movie is so realistic and so well done.
You can see that they relate to each other better than any other Craig Bond movie.
And also in all of the Craig Bond movies their first scene always is a shot to the chest with some of the best action in the entire film.
And guess what!
It's no different from this one, the beginning scene of this movie is so entertaining, well done and so important to the film.
And in every Craig Bond movie right after the beginning scene is this really long before credits thing that is way too long!
But the song "Skyfall" by Adele fit into this part so well that I probably couldn't imagine a better song for it.
The places that this movie were shot in were amazing and so very awesome.
If you pay attention to the trailer they have almost all of the amazing scenery spots in it, but you just got to wait until there's action going on there.
Then it really gets awesome.
For anyone who's actually seen the trailer James Bond dies and comes back to life blah blah blah.
Well when James Bond comes back to the MI6 you can see how the time has changed him and how he's really rusty.
You can see him advance in his skill in this movie and the people do it so well.
Now the thing in this movie that really stood out to me was Javier Bardem as a bad guy.
This guy could've gone really well or really bad.
Fortunately he did his role in the movie AMAZING!!!!
Right from the moment he walks on screen you can see that this man is so crazy and that he is out blood.
And Javier Bardem in this movie expresses that so well and he was amazing.
You see that he wasn't a bad guy he was just a plain old crazy dude who is you know, CRAZY!
He is amazing in this film and I thought he really brought it all together.
Now what I didn't like about the movie.
I thought that the end of the movie was bad.
I thought that it wasn't enough.
I thought that they went down an interesting path in this movie that could've gone well but didn't.
I thought it was an unfinished ending to the movie and possibly the series.
Anyways I would recommend this movie to anyone who like James Bond, action and movies.
Score= 9.0

Movie Review: Flight

I still can't believe that my old principal saw me watching that movie.

Rating: R
Time: 138 min
Stars: Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle

No but seriously the first 5 seconds of the movie, alcohol, drugs and nudity.
I will never look at my old principal the same ever again.
Anyways this movie was long, tiring and so I just want to get right to it.
So the plot in the movie is that Mr. Washington is a pilot, his plane crashes but he saves almost everyone on board.
Everyone thinks that he's a hero and then he gets caught for having alcohol in his system when controlling the plane.
Say hello to the new movie from the director of the Back to the Future Trilogy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forrest Gump and some other not as great movies like The Polar Express.
So this movie seems to be a mix up to some people.
I mean at least from my perspective.
Some people really  like the movie and some people really don't and some are just quite, eh.
All I know is that we definitely got a movie that will be a nominee for an OSCAR!!
But truthfully this movie was eh to me and I really don't think it's going to win Best Picture when Argo is a film.
If you're looking for a drama that's amazing go see Argo!
If you're looking for a drama that's an eh, go see Flight!
If you're not looking for a drama, scroll down one post and see that movie!
Now lets start off with what I did like in his movie.
The acting in this movie was spectacular.
Everyone seemed like they were giving it their best.
But especially Denzel Washington.
I think that the people who made this movie couldn't have chosen a better decision then Denzel for this role.
It was like he was made for this role.
And someone else who was in this movie was John Goodman.
Man that guy was hilarious.
In all he's in this movie for about 10 min in two different scenes.
But in both scenes he is amazing and funny and he pretty much brings the whole movie together in those two scenes he's in.
Another thing that I liked about this movie was that it wasn't like a fake movie.
It was a movie that was very realistic.
It made you feel like you were right there during the crash.
That reminds me, another thing I liked was the whole part on the plane.
It was intense, it was funny at a moment and it was just entertaining.
Now what I didn't like about the movie.
In this movie Denzel is a drug user and also and alcoholic.
But in the movie all the people care about is the drinking, it seemed like they cared very little about the drugs.
Another thing that kind of annoyed me in this movie is that the movie goes back and forth.
And to some people who saw or will see this movie will probably not realize this.
But it seemed like the whole movie was going from addictions alcohol drugs to trying to help himself and on and on and on.
And in the movie people die from the plane crash, but it also seemed like they only cared about the crew.
Passengers die too.
Also in this movie even though his dude is an alcoholic and he's really messed up but they seem to only focus on that after he gets accused.
The people in the movie need to know this guy does drink a lot but that doesn't mean he didn't save 96/102 people!
I get it but I kind of wish that they would pay a little more attention to the other things.
Anyways that's my review!
This movie was different from what I really see but it was an experience!
This movie is definitely not for everyone!
Score=6.5

Movie Review: Wreck-It Ralph

You know you're going to get good ratings when mix 3 of the things kids love.
1. Movies
2. Video Games
3. Candy

Rating: PG
Time: 108 min
Stars: John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer

But seriously every kid in the history of being awesome needs to see this movie.
I mean I found this movie a year ago with no trailer and I was like "that movie has a great comedian John C. Reilly and it's an animation. I can't wait until that comes out!"
Well of course about a couple of months later the first trailer comes out.
The second after that trailer ended my mouth was wide open and I was drooling.
Then the second trailer came out and I wasn't as excited as the first but I was pretty much the same way.
Then the movie came out and well, here I am.
So the plot in this movie is that Ralph is the bad guy in the movie and everyone treats him like he's a poop a dog left right in front of your door.
So the next thing you know he starts jumping to different games to get a Hero medal to prove he's not a bad guy.
If I had to put it into 11 words, he's a bad guy who wants to be a good guy.
So let me start with the good things and wow there was a whole lot.
When you see the trailer for this movie you think that Ralph is going to be traveling to a whole bunch of different games.
In reality he only travels to two.
Now you think that would be worse but to me it was actually better.
Because if it was a whole bunch of different games then the movie would be all mumbled and jumbled and you wouldn't be able to experience all of the story.
But since it's only two you get to be much more interested in the characters and the plot is much better then it would've been.
Also what I really liked was that in this movie there was a lot of game references.
And if you know those games then this movie is so much more fun!
What I also liked in this movie was that the movie goes in a lot of directions that's really unexpected.
So when you're in the theater you're like "Oh well that's unexpected, will that work?"
And guess what, IT REALLY DOES!!
So be prepared to be shocked and surprised!
And the color in this movie is really bright and always matches the mood that the character is in.
And that also that reminds me, the characters in this movie are amazing.
They're personalities were amazing and you can see how their all unique by the way that they all react to each other.
And a character who surprised me was Jane Lynch.
Her character I thought was only going to be in the movie for very little.
Instead she was in the movie for practically the whole thing and I loved her.
Now the bad stuff.
I think that some of the bad guys in this movie were a little bit over rated.
I mean they seemed like just destruction and for no reason.
I think that Disney should've spent a little more time on the villain.
Instead they used all their time on everyone else.
Anyways in overall this movie was amazing and any kid who's awesome should see it.
And if you don't see it, then no wonder you're not awesome!

Movie Review: Argo

I still can't believe this is a true story.
WOW.

Rating: R
Time: 120 min
Stars: Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston

A true story.
I already said it, I already saw it but it is still amazing.
Anyways this is Ben Afflecks third movie that he directed.
I didn't see The Town or Gone Baby Gone but I've heard that anyone who has actually seen these movies have loved them.
Everyone says Ben Affleck is a growing director and that he could be one of our best.
Anyways to that I would say he makes a good movie but is he better then Tim Burton or Christopher Nolan?
No.
Anyways that plot in this movie is that Iran took over a building blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and six people got out.
Their hiding out in the Canadian Ambassadors house and these Iranians are going door to door.
The CIA need them out but all their plans lead to someone being killed.
So Ben Affleck has the idea to make a fake movie who are scouting for a place to shoot.
He goes to Iran gets them and leaves with them, with them disguised as his film crew.
Hopefully.
And the biggest surprise about his movie is that it really happened!!!
Anyways let me talk about what went right in this movie.
This movie never gets boring.
Even though there might be some parts in this movie that might be boring in other movies well they're not.
This movie can make 8 people sitting in room entertaining.
If it's not intense there's a joke.
That's another two things in this movie.
This movie had some jokes in it!
When they're creating Argo in the movie with Ben Affleck, John Goodman and Alan Arkin those scenes are funny!
Some jokes mad me laugh out loud!
And also my other point in this movie is that this movie is really intense.
It can prove that a movie can be really nail-biting without any guns, killing or violence.
The acting in this movie was amazing!
It seemed like everyone was giving it their all!
Ben Affleck can have really 9.0bad acting experiences and really good ones.
Fortunately this one was good.
And Bryan Cranston.
He seemed realistic and he was entertaining to watch.
John Goodman in this movie, whenever he was on screen he made me feel good!
You always need a feel good character in a non-feel good movie.
And Alan Arkin, whenever this guy was on screen he made me crack up.
His character and personality in this movie was really good.
There probably couldn't be a better person to play his character then him.
And also this movie was really realistic.
In some movies based on a true story they make the characters cheesy and the premise cheesy.
This one sticks to the real really well.
And even though this movie is 2 hours and it seems like 2 hours it is so good that you don't want it to end!
Now the bad stuff.
This movie can get really complicated and confusing for a minute.
They use really long complicated words that some people may not know.
I mean you will know them but they also talk fast in this movie.
But after one minute you understand and you're back on track.
And also in this movie that language that they speak in Iran is really confusing.
It takes you off course and then it leaves you thinking for 5 minutes.
Sometimes in the movie you have to understand what's happening by the actions because there are no captions.
And while that is happening you seem to be focused on the words and it gets you all scrambled up.
But in overall this movie was really well done and exciting.
It's a movie you should see in theaters, and will definitely be worth the time and the cash.

Movie Review: Taken 2

I didn't see the first but I saw the Family Guy version of it.
It was gooooood.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 91 min
Stars: Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace

So I've been hearing that everyone in the entire universe hates this movie and so on.
They say that this movie loses all of the awesomeness of the first one.
Personally I've never seen the first one.
So I thought it was good even though it had it's flaws.
So the plot in this movie was that the families of the people whom which Liam Neeson killed in the first one want their revenge!
So instead of taking Maggie Grace and trying to sell her as a sex slave they take Liam Neeson and Famke Janssen just for the revenge.
So lets talk about what did work.
When the action finally starts the movie goes by so quickly that you didn't realize what hit you.
Then again they spent half of the movie with Liam Neeson and his family.
But the action is entertaining and you enjoy most of it.
This movie got me really sucked in and it made me enjoy.
I am a fan of Liam Neeson but in some movies he seems really relaxed and calm and like he's not giving it his all.
In this movie it didn't seem like he was trying but that's what I would feel because if I were him I would know that I've done this before and now I'm doing it again.
The music is good and it fits properly with the moment.
And there's this one part where Liam Neeson is with his daughter and he's telling her what to do and where to go.
And that whole huge scene was a really great interesting scene that had me enjoying the movie right from there.
But you know what about Famke?
So eventually he leaves Maggie and then it goes back to it's normal usual action movie self.
The end of the movie was funny, the actual last line was funny but it wasn't any better then most of the movies in the world.
Now lets talk about what didn't work.
The beginning half of this movie is all love and family and it just won't end.
When the action finally starts you feel like you just started a second movie.
Also in this movie is that there is a lot of shaky cam.
When the fights are going on you're like, did that guy just faint?
Did he die.
I think he died.
Moving on, also in this movie it seemed like Liam Neeson was god because there are some parts in this movie where it seems like he just put his and on your face and you just died.
Did he suck the life out of you?
I don't know, no one knows!
And the villains are kind of idiots.
You put the guy who slaughtered all your men in the first movie in a room by himself with 30 minutes to escape.
No one even has to see the movie to know the movie doesn't end there.
So I've heard that the first was so much better and some people are giving this a lower score because they're comparing it to the first, but I didn't see the first so I thought it was good.
So in all this movie has it's flaws but it's movie that people can actually enjoy!
I'd recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't seen the first but saw the family guy version.
Score=7.5

Movie Review: Frankenweenie

You can make a lot of jokes with a movie called Frankenweenie.

Rating: PG
Time: 87 min
Stars: Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short

No literally, I can think of about a dozen jokes for that name.
Even though Frankendog doesn't sound as good.
The plot in this movie is that this kids dog dies and he brings him back to life.
Now that I'm done with the plot stuff let me talk about what was the good stuff in the movie.
This movie is totally Tim Burton.
It has that part of the movie where you feel good and then it gets kind of spooky and in the end it turns out to be a great movie.
The characters are great in this movie and they're all unique.
The graphics in this movie are amazing and the plot itself is amazing!
The plot is so well done and so interesting.
And it's probably one of Burtons best plots.
And the movie flows by so well, it doesn't get to slow or to fast.
And that's probably all for the good stuff.
You know the reason I'm not listing the jokes are because they're not appropriate.
You know if the movie is called Frankenweenie than maybe the dog should be a wiener dog.
I can imagine what that would be like.
It would probably be a comedy.
And it would probably be PG-13 because what movie has a wiener dog and not a whole lot of jokes.
Anyways this was definitely the best Tim Burton film f the year at least.
This compared to Dark Shadows is AMAZING!
Now what I didn't seem to like in this movie.
Some of the characters in this movie seemed distracting to the whole premise of the movie.
They seemed like they had their own movie and that they were distracting me from the plot and main story of the movie.
Especially that little creepy kid.
He was so creepy and he was making me a little "Get off the screen you little tiny weird midget KID!"
And the asian kid was so annoying.
He kept on making me confused and a little angry.
Another thing I didn't like was the ending to this movie.
The ending seemed weak and that they ran out of ideas.
And I know Tim Burton can make a better ending to the movie but instead chose the kid friendly way.
But still the movie was good.
So that's my post!
I hoped you liked it but I still can't stop thinking of the name Frankenweenie.
Frankenweenie.
Heh!
Anyways I would recommend this movie to anyone who can stand a black and white spooky movie.
Even though ParaNorman was more spooky.
Score=7.5

P.S. I will start putting bigger poster pictures.

Movie Review: The Master

So this movie is about a whole bunch of crazy people.
I'm still waiting to figure out who the master is.

Rating: R
Time: 137 min
Stars: Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman

Tom Cruise must have been so mad when he saw this movie!
But then again he could've been happy, it is about him right.
It's just besides Joaquin Phoenix it's all of his wives who keep on leaving.
But anyways lets get to the movie and stop the jokes about Tom Cruise.
This movie is full of psychos and I am surprised that it will be in the Oscars.
No one has said it yet but, come on!!!
Well at least we got Seth MacFarlane to make fun of it.
But anyways lets get to the movie!
The plot in this film is that Phoenix just got back from World War 2 and he's crazy.
But then he meets Hoffman and you know what they say, crazies got to stick with crazies!
So then they travel with each other and Amy Adams wants Phoenix out but Hoffman and him are friends so...
But if Amy Adams wanted to get rid of him then just drop him off in rehab, and while she's there she could also take a crack at it.
So anyways lets talk about the bad things in this movie.
Throughout the whole movie your'e watching these crazy people and you keep on whispering to your neighbor CRAZY!!!
You seem like you enjoy the movie a little less because of how crazy the people are in this movie.
There's one guy who's actually normal in the movie and well... Phoenix may also have violent issues.
I'm not saying you don't enjoy the movie I'm just saying this is negative 3 points because you don't seem to like anybody in the film.
Another thing that seemed negative to me was that the movie was really long.
If you were watching the movie where you could check how much longer and you could pause it, I guarantee more then 90% of people wouldn't be able to finish it.
And now the good stuff!
The setting and scenery in this movie are beautiful.
There nice to look at and it's great.
The camera footage in this movie is amazing.
I don't know what it's called but the way the camera shows the movie and the scenes is fantastic.
The script in this movie was solid.
Well at least for crazy people.
If I had read the script without seeing the movie then I probably would have said something I'm not allowed to say.
The editing in this movie was amazing!
They cut the scenes not to little and not to much right when they needed to.
The acting in this movie was great.
It seemed like everyone was giving it there all in the film and when you do that you usually end up getting a lot of good comments from movie critics.
And even though the movie was super long the make it flow so well that you realize the length but not all the time.
People if you want to see this movie see it in theaters instead of buying it on DVD.
I would recommend this movie to anyone who can sit through a long drama.

My 200th Post

Hello ladies and gentleman.
This post tonight is a serious one no joke.
You want to know why?
Because it is my 200th post.
And I love to look back on what I've done over the years.
I remember my first post...

Welcome to X ZooMz!!!!!
This blog will have many videos on it!
Maybe.
So I hope you will like my posts!

For the next month after that all I did was post videos.
And then I stopped because I realized people actually read my blog!
So then I started doing normal blog posts about my days in my school (which I have now left.)

THE WAR MUST GO ON!!!

There were sometimes in between where the rough patches started.
Like when I didn't write a blog post for like a year!
And when I just got mad a removed my blog for 1 hour.
But none of you experienced that.

And then I started off all of my headings with
Hello all fans of this blog!

And then there was this month where I had only written one post,
The Amazing World of Gumball!
Now that post had gotten me my highest page-viewers in a month.
And that's when all these strangers started looking at my blog.
And that's when I knew I'M AWESOME!

But after that post some of the viewers weren't viewing that much even though I kept on writing.
But I didn't stop.
Then I started writing about movies and I kind of became obsessed sort of.
Then I reached my 200th post.
And here I am.
I've reached my 200th post and I'm hoping to reach my 300th.
So I promise I will try my best to reach that goal.
So for the people who have been following me fro this whole time thank you.
And the other people I don't really care about.
But anyways,

Welcome to X ZooMz...

Movie Review: Hotel Transylvania

An Adam Sandler movie that's a cartoon and wait what was that, IT'S FOR KIDS!!!!
WHAT!?!?!?!

Rating: PG
Time: 91 min
Stars: Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg

This movie includes great actors and some not so amazing stars.
Like Sandler, Samberg, James, Buscemi and the not so great stars like Gomez and Green.
So the plot in this movie is that Sandler made a hotel just for monsters so his daughter could be safe forever.
But then Samberg joins the party and now we got a human!
So lets start with the things I liked about the movie.
Like ParaNorman this movie had some pretty premature jokes that were funny for kids.
But then again little kids watch the movie too so there are also some pretty dumb jokes also.
The characters were amazing and unique and I loved them.
And something else that was unique in this movie was the story itself.
Who would ever think of a story about a hotel for monsters.
There's a part in this movie where they make fun of Twilight.
It was amazing!
It probably made the whole movie to me and probably millions of other people.
So Adam Sandler, there aren't that may animation movies anymore.
And unless you start making you're movies like you did when there was Big Daddy or Happy Gilmore or The Longest Yard then start making cartoons.
Because this movie was pretty good!
So know let me talk about the bad things.
One of the bad things are that in the mix of this comedy there was some meaningful stuff that ruined the movie.
I mean don't add meaningful stuff to a comedy.
Seriously!
The problems that they get in to in the film are kind of boring or slow.
And the trailer for this movie is really bad.
It makes the movie the seem like it's going to be bad while I'm watching it.
So I'm not that into or connected to the movie that much.
So that's pretty much the last thing I have to say about the movie.
I would recommend this movie to adults and children.
Pretty much anyone who likes mature jokes but also can handle annoying cute baby ones.
Score=7.5

P.S. I have that poster in real life!

Movie Review: Trouble with the Curve

Basically the worst version of MoneyBall.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 111 min
Stars: Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams

So now we got cigar smoking, wrinkly faced, high pantsed all time classic actor (unfortunately) in another movie!
Lets see what this movie turns out to be!
The plot in this movie is that Eastwood is a kind of guy who spots out young baseball players to be in the big leagues, so he takes a trip to spot out this one rookie, just fact is that his eyesight is terrible!
So Amy Adams his daughter is there to make sure everything is fine.
This is one of those movies where the trailer makes it look really good but then it's NOT.
So know that I started writing about one of my disappointments in the movie, let me discuss all the others.
The characters in this movie are terrible.
I wasn't routing for anyone, you're supposed to be routing for Eastwood but how can route for a guy who's grumpy all the time and is kind of crazy!
Seriously, the guy talks to a chair!
But Amy Adams I also didn't like!
I mean she does her job well by being exactly like her dad (Eastwood) but in the movie I think your'e actually supposed to like her.
The thing that these two characters had in common were that they were both stubborn and both a downer.
And Justin Timberlake!
This guy is annoying because he's always there when there's a problem.
And to me, he just won't stop talking!
Seriously, ANNOYING!
The only guy I liked a little in this movie was John Goodman.
But I think that I speak for everyone, I've seen this guys character about a million times before.
The rookie that Eastwood is chasing is a butthead even though if he were real he would have pretty impressive baseball skills.
And in this movie there's always a problem, even a tiny problem until the last 3 minutes of the film.
And a point in this movie there's such a little thing but when it happens it is so obvious and it kind of tells you the ending.
But if you don't realize it, seriously?
And in this beginning of this movie there's this really scary black horse (or to me a really red donkey) coming straight at you and it doesn't have and words under it or anything so I'm still wondering if that was apart of the movie or a company supporting the movie.
But anyways now the good things.
There's this person in the movie that only really appears during the end.
He kind of makes the whole movie for me.
And I also liked the bad guys in this movie.
Well not really the bad guys but the guys who stay at the office doing research on the players and not really seeing them themselves.
Anyways I recommend this movie to anybody who likes Abraham Lincoln but only because he's a republican.
No offense to republicans except for Sarah Palin.
Score=5.0
P. S. And everyone else

Movie Review: Finding Nemo 3D

Everything comes out on Friday!
But I guess I'll just have to settle for this right now.

Rating: G
Time: 100 min
Stars: Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres

I wasn't saying this movie was bad I was saying that I have it on DVD.
Actually this movie was AMAZING!!!
And I'm sorry that I haven't been writing a lot anymore.
The reason is that school has started and I don't have that much time to see movies anymore.
But don't worry, I won't see many but I'll see some.
Unlike other movie reviewers that don't get paid.
I have a life.
But anyways lets start the review.
So the 3D, usually I dislike 3D, and I still did in this film, but this had pretty good 3D for a movie that wasn't meant to be 3D.
So the plot of this movie is that Nemo's missing and Marlin (his dad) has to go look for him.
So straight in the beginning of this movie your pumped and enjoying.
But then 5 seconds later the movie gets dark, actually it gets really dark!
And any G movie that can pull that off besides Toy Story 3 I'm a fan of.
It goes in a direction that you don't really expect from that kind of movie.
So after the darkness goes by you are really pumped and you are gnawing for more.
This movie has you on the edge of your seat and it does that really well.
The plot in this movie was amazing, because you're facing Marlins story but also Nemo's story at the exact same time.
And usually I dislike that in a movie but this movie had seemed to pull it off for me.
The colors in this movie are also very colorful and always match the color of what the mood is in the movie.
The characters in this movie are unique and you love them all.
I mean you even love the shark!
And the scenarios in this movie are also pretty fun.
From losing Nemo to riding on a hippie turtle.
This movie was a fun film and a classic.
If you haven't seen it, really?
You are probably one of the 4 people on the entire face of the planet that hasn't seen Finding Nemo, so congrats to you.
But seriously, If you haven't seen Nemo then what are you doing reading this?
Go buy yourself a ticket.
Everyone will love this movie.
Score=9.0

And another thing that was awesome in this movie was the clip before it called Party-Sarus Rex.
Score=9.0

Movie Review: The Words

So a new movie with Mr. Handsome, and guess what, IT'S A DRAMA!

Rating: PG-13
Time: 96 min
Stars: Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana

This was practically 3 movies shoved into an hour and a half.
So the plot in this movie is that Bradley Cooper is a writer, but not a very successful one.
So he finds a manuscript that isn't his but publishes it.
And that's pretty much all you need to know right now.
Now lets get started on the things I liked about this movie.
The first third of the movie was amazing.
I was into it, the pacing was good and I was enjoying it.
Then Jeremy Irons appears in the movie and starts telling this whole story that's entertaining but way too long.
The scene in the park seems like it's half of the whole movie.
But then you know, it's not.
But I'm supposed to be talking about the things I liked in this movie.
The pacing in this movie is good you don't seem to get bored unless your a kid who says every single movie in the entire universe is simply... good.
I liked Bradley Cooper in the movie.
I thought his character was entertaining and he did his job well.
Although the person I seemed to have enjoyed the most in this movie was Zoe Saldana.
I thought her relationship with Bradley Cooper was great and I thought she did well in the movie.
But other then them everyone else seemed you know, ehh.
I liked the twists in this movie and the way things went.
I was surprised that the movie went places but to me I had seen it all before.
If anybody out there has seen the Broadway Play Other Desert Cities then you will recognize the ending of this movie and yo won't be that surprised.
Just a warning.
Now let me talk about the things readers are more interested in.
The bad stuff about this movie.
I thought that Olivia Wilde had no use in this movie whatsoever.
I thought that her role was in the movie because she was pretty girl and the director went "Ohh! Olivia Wilde! I think I can fit her in somewhere!"
And also the story with Dennis Quaid was just dumb.
They make things so stupid in this movie that it's just so dumb.
And Jeremy Irons in this movie, his reaction was so fake to the events that were happening in his life.
I mean he seams like he doesn't care that his ___ is being ____ by ______ _____.
And I don't like that there are practically 3 movies in this movie.
I don't like it when movies do that!
Even though this one did so good that I don't hate it.
And the ending to this movie can get a little confusing.
If you're a kid you probably will have to ask your parents about what the heck just happened in the ending.
And what the hack happened to _____ _______!
Did __ just magically disappear in the end!
It doesn't tell you anything about ___ in the end!
So __ just _____ and you never mention __ again?
Did you really just ruin _____ _____ for the whole movie?
Well whatever!
I recommend this movie to anybody who likes those 2 stories in one movies.
Example: This movie does that good and The Lorax is probably the worst movie in 2012 according to me.
And I also recommend this movie to anyone who likes Bradley Cooper.
Score=8.0

Movie Review: Premium Rush

Thanks to this movie I love bikes now.
Thank you JGL.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 91 min
Stars: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Shannon

So I started school today so let me get started right away.
The plot in this movie is that JGL is a biker for a delivery service, so he's on one of his missions and Michael Shannon appears and he starts to get in all kinds of trouble.
So what did I like about the movie.
They do something in the movie where they show the different scenarios and that's really cool.
I also liked Michael Shannon in the beginning in the movie, where the first scene he sounds he's menacing but then the rest of the movie he turns to be this guy who you really get annoyed by and even in some scenes you can realize that his voice gets from normal to really squeaky.
the stunts and the biking are really awesome in this movie.
I really enjoyed them and they were cool.
Now let me get to the bad things in the movie.
There were some things in this movie that without would have made no difference to the film whatsoever.
And if you have read any other review about this film in the whole entire universe you should know about Jamie Chung's fake Asian accent.
It's so bad I want to barf.
Another thing I didn't like is how the movie went to the past and then to the present again and again and again.
The acting in this movie- EH.
I also didn't like that this ____ worked ___ and did this kind of ___ and wasn't ______.
And i wasn't a big fan of the ending, I thought was cheesy and just plain old movie.
If you're trying to make a real movie don't to type of thing in the end.
Anyways If you like bikes come see this film, if you don't then buy a bike and practice.
Score=5.5

Movie Review: The Campaign

Will Ferrel vs Zach Galifianakis, no way anyone can mess this up!
Or can they?

Rating: R
Time: 85 min
Stars: Will Ferrel, Zach Galifianakis

It's always funny when you make something so dull into a funny movie with Will Ferrel.
AWESOME!
The plot is that Will Ferrel has won and been congressman without competition for a long time.
Until 2 people hire Zach Galifianakis to run up against him.
And now we have a Campaign.
May the best loser win!
So lets get started on what I liked about in this movie.
The humor in this movie was good.
It was a funny movie and it belongs in the section of the funniest movies of the year.
You know the one where 21 Jump Street and The Dictator are in.
Another thing I liked where the characters personalities, they're both horrible dumb people but you seem to like them both.
You have to think about the facts to decide who you want to win.
And another thing I like is that before the movie you really don't know who's going to win.
So your anticipating the ending to see who's going to win.
There were 2 people in this movie that really shined to me.
And those people were Karen Maruyama and Jason Sudekis.
Maruyama was so funny in this movie she was probably the person I liked most.
And Jason Sudekis was probably the only normal person in this movie.
And that's why he shined for me.
So now lets get on to the bad stuff.
This movie was very stupid.
And even though I said I liked the the characters they were very dumb characters.
The whole way through the movie I wasn't routing for Will Ferrel or Zach Galifianakis.
They were both idiots.
And sometimes in the movie parts got to boring.
But other then those things the only thing that I didn't like was that it got a little to choppy for me at some moments.
People who think that movies have no meaning and only care about news, come to this movie and celebrate the first time you'll actually enjoy something!
I recommend this movie to anyone who knows how to laugh and have a good time.
Score=7.5

Movie Review: The Odd Life Of Timothy Green

Let me say it right here, the trailer for this movie was complete GARBAGE!
Now lets talk about the movie.

Rating: PG
Time: 105 min
Stars: Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton

Pretty much the only reason I wanted to see this movie was because Joel Edgerton was in it.
But this movie didn't turn out to be as bad as it looked.
The plot in this movie is that Garner and Edgerton can't have a baby, so they make a box with personalities that they would like their kid to have and then they bury it in the garden.
Then Timothy Green appears he's different and we have our plot.
Let me get started on the acting.
Garner I thought did well in this movie, I realized that this movie wasn't her greatest but I thought she could bring some more.
I liked Edgerton in this movie, I thought he was a good character and that he did his job well.
But you know, not amazing.
The kid in this movie is how I expected the kid to be.
I thought he did great in the movie.
The kid hangs out with a girl in the movie that looked wrong.
She looked like she was 14 and he looked like he was 8 but I guess that was the only good actress that applied for the part because if she wasn't, seriously?
This is a movie that makes you feel good the whole way through.
I loved the ending and I thought it was a warm movie and I enjoyed it.
Now let me get started on the bad things.
This movie is Disney all the way.
This movie is Disney and it was everything you expect from Disney.
To some people that's a good thing but to me personally Disney just annoys the heck out of me.
Another thing that I realized are the emotions in this movie.
The actors and everything in the movie.
It's the same feel good emotion everywhere!
Even when things go wrong!
Oops I got fired, YAY!
Oops I got beat up, YAY!
(Those things didn't really happen, or did they?)
Anyways if you're on of those people who only like movies with love and family and pretty much no action just a feel good movie, then go to this one.
If you don't then don't go to this one.
And if you love Disney then see this movie and the other way around.
Score=7.0

Movie Review: ParaNorman

They really did it this time.
I'm really not sure if that's good or bad.

Rating: PG
Time: 93 min
Stars: Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck

This movie wasn't that good of a movie.
It was GREAT!
This movie was the closest PG movie to PG-13 I have ever seen.
If there were a rating between PG and PG-13 it would be that rating.
It is not a kid movie, it is mostly a movie for teenagers to me.
but that's why I liked it so much.
So let's get started on the things I liked about the movie.
The characters in this movie are awesome!
They each have there own unique personality that's so fun to watch.
The Sister "I don't care about anyone but I'm going to do the thing that's right."
The Jock "I'm so dumb that I don't even know if I'm good looking or not?"
The Bully "I act like I'm better then everyone but really I'm a wimp."
The Fat Kid "Everything is so awesome! Hey look a Zombie's trying to eat me- AWESOME!"
And Norman "What's up President Washington?"
But seriously they're awesome.
The movie is entertaining.
I'm always connected to the movie, it just makes me into it.
There are some jokes in this movie and wow are they funny.
Probably the funniest most adultish PG movie I've seen.
Don't go to the bathroom at the end, TRUST ME!
And there are some twists in this movie that are surprising.
The effects in this movie are good and a lot of stuff in this movie are good!
Probably one of my favorite claymation films.
Now the bad stuff.
There are some things that are pretty annoying in this movie.
I can't tell you what because then it will ruin the movie for you, but there are.
This movie can get slow.
The pacing I mean.
And other then that the only thing that I didn't like was the dad and how he was always putting down Norman and telling him that he is a weirdo.
But then again I guess you're not supposed to like him so props to them on that!
Adults if you have a kid bring him to Ice Age or Wimpy Kid or Odd Life of Timothy Green!
And teenagers, go see this movie!
And kids, say you're going to Ice Age and instead go to this one!
It's much better!

Movie Review: Total Recall

3 BOOBS!
COUNT THEM, 1, 2, 3!
AWESOME!

Rating: PG-13
Time: 118 min
Stars: Colin Farrel, Bokeem Woodbine

If you're a boy, stop reading this and go see this movie before it's too late!
You won't regret!
Now for the girls, here's my review!
The plot in this movie is that there's this guy who goes to a place where they mess up your brain but there some things go wrong.
So know Colin Farrel is running from the government.
Like the Bourne movies this movie starts you off knowing nothing.
The only difference is that this movie isn't trying to do that.
So today let me switch it up and start with the bad stuff first.
The story isn't that strong it makes me want to get up and walk out of the theater.
It made me think "this movie sucks." and I didn't even know why.
There were some parts that I just hated.
The wife in this movie sucks, I hate her.
But I guess I'm supposed to feel that so props to her for making me hate her so much!
But anyways the twists in this movie are terrible, the movie's predictable and that just stinks!
I wanted more from this movie.
I mean like there are some parts and characters in this movie that were so useless that if you had taken them out of the movie there would be no difference in the film at all.
Now the good things.
The action scenes in this movie are insanely awesome.
When Colin Farrel is fighting it gets me so pumped and it's great.
The scenery is great.
It's futuristic and just awesome to look at.
I would have loved this movie if it were a tour through the city.
The special effects in this movie are great.
They're cool, big and kept me locked in for the whole movie.
This movie is not boring.
You will not get bored, you will always want more.
Men, 3 BOOBS!
Like you're going to ever see 3 boobs ever again!

Movie Review: The Expendables 2

Finally, the movie we have all been waiting for, time to kick some B-U-T-T!

Rating: R
Time: 103 min
Stars: Sylvester Stallone, Chuck Norris

So I when I saw the first Expendables on Netflix I thought that movie was TERRIBLE!
But then I saw the second one.
And I was like, this-is-AWESOME.
This movie is full of all the old action stars that everyone has missed.
Now imagine all your action stars as a kid together just walking around killing everyone in sight.
Two words AWE-SOME.
So the plot in this movie is the Expendables are on a mission that should be a walk in the park for them.
When one of them gets killed, and so on.
The beginning of the movie starts off with a BAM!
The Expendables are on a mission and they are slaughtering people all over the place.
The action scenes in this movie are awesome, you're always hooked in and pleading for some more.
Probably the best action movie of the year.
But you know an action movie that's so good that you can laugh at it.
That's another thing I liked in this movie there were a lot of jokes that weren't bad jokes there were good laugh out loud jokes.
In this movie they made some jokes about the actors and their old movies.
Like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Terminator!
No but seriously, I really enjoyed this movie, a lot!
Now to get to the bad stuff.
The script in this movie sucks.
The lines are bad and cheesy.
But that's not what disappointed me.
It was the CGI in this movie.
It is over reacted and dumb.
I saw when a guy was shot, with a bullet, there was a hole in his chest the size of an apple.
And when some guy gets his head chopped off, well you have to be there to actually realize how dumb they make it look.
But other then those two things, the movie definitely a must see in my list!

Movie Review: The Bourne Legacy

I still like Matt Damon better.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 135 min
Stars: Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz

So Hawkeye joins the show!
No but seriously I like Jason Bourne better.
So the plot in this movie is a plot so confusing that you have to see the three older movies to actually understand this one.
So know that I brought that up lets start with what I didn't like about the movie.
I didn't like how Jeremy Renner joins the Bourne movie series.
I liked Matt Damon and I will always like Matt Damon.
And if you're going to continue the Bourne movies without Jason Bourne then just name it something else.
Otherwise continue the saga with the main character or don't continue the saga!
Then there's how you understand somethings in this movie.
Unless paying attention to every single detail in this movie you're probably not going understand some moments.
And if you came to this movie because it looked like a good movie, don't.
If you want to see this movie see the first three first.
Other then that the only thing I didn't like about the movie was this really long action scene right at the end.
They should've cut some of it because that moment spoiled the movie for me.
And I also didn't like the ending.
Coincidence?
I can't say the acting's good but I can't say it's bad so I'll just say nothing.
Anyways now I'll talk about the things that did work for me.
The action scenes in this movie are amazing. (besides the last one.)
They're the kind of action scenes that you can laugh at because it's so good.
Well all of them besides one.
There is a scene in this movie where it is just dark.
There's no song and it has you on the edge of your seat.
it is realistic and it is dark.
I can honestly say that this action scene that I'm talking about is the best action scene I have seen all year.
You'll know the seen when you see it.
I also like how all the Bourne movies start off with the audience knowing absolute nothing.
Until the movie goes on and you start to assemble pieces of the puzzle until you're puzzle is complete.
I just love how they do that.
I also like the pacing in the movie. (but not the last action scene.)
I thought they did the beginning well and throughout the movie I only thought once that something was to long or to short.
but I already talked about that.
Anyways if you've seen the past three Bourne movies then you definitely need to see this one.
But if you haven't then should probably go see something else.

Movie Review: Hope Springs

More then 2/3 of the audience were seniors.
Bit of advice, if you want to come to this movie to have relationship advice, don't.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 100 min
Stars: Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones

If you want to bring your grandma to this movie only because the main characters are old people then you should probably not tell her that this movie will die soon enough.
It will remind them of sad stuff...
Woops!
See, Tommy Lee Jones is already dead. (Well at least as an actor he is.)
This movie's about two old people who are having relationship problems so Meryl Streep joins a couples counselling problem and so then you meet Steve Carrel and the rest of the movie is them on a couch.
No but seriously the movie goes from home, couch, movie theater, couch to buying bananas popsicles and some sausages.
Now lets get started on the acting.
The best actor in this movie to me was Tommy Lee Jones, he did his job perfectly well but to me I would have chosen Kurtwood Smith.
I could totally see Smith doing Lees part 100%.
Meryl Streep was good but there's good and there's overboard.
And she definitely went overboard.
She made the movie look like it was all just one big joke.
Then there's Steve Carrel.
He should probably just stick to comedy.
I mean throughout the whole movie I hated him.
He never told a joke, ever!
And his part was so easy all he had to do is say something nobody wants to hear then smile like he hates himself.
Another thing in this movie I didn't like was when they had a joke but then the movie ruins that joke by having an emotional moment right after it.
And did I mention that the movie was really predictable, well it was!
Now the good things.
The jokes, the jokes that they said in the movie were funny and you could laugh out loud.
Well at least if your not serious.
A serious guy would hate this movie guaranteed!
And other then the jokes the only other thing I liked was that the movie was really easy to understand.
So if your a senior or a single, don't see this movie.
It won't help.

Movie Review: The Fighter

At least Christian Bale doesn't sound like he has throat cancer.

Rating: R
Time: 116 min
Stars: Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale

So two days ago I saw Warrior on Netflix.
Today I saw The Fighter.
I thought Warrior was brilliant but my mom and my brother were like "NO! The Fighter's much better! Warrior's just a big bowl of violence!"
But fact is that they hadn't seen Warrior.
So today I will answer that question.
But from my point of view, not theirs.
The Fighter is about a young boxer and his training before the fights.
Now I know everyone's saying that, OMJ Christian Bale was so amazing in this movie.
And I am here to approve their opinion.
Everybody in this movie was great in their role, but he out acts everyone!
Christian Bale was the real Batman in this movie!
He was amazing!
Christian Bale plays Mark Wahlberg's brother and trainer who smokes drugs and gets into trouble.
To me it didn't look like Christan Bale was acting it looked like he was really on drugs!
He definitely out acted everybody else in this entire film.
Then there's Amy Adams.
Personally I loved Amy Adams in this film.
When I saw the trailer I didn't think she would be like how she was, but she acted like the character I didn't think she would be and she did it wonderfully.
Mark Wahlberg was also amazing in this film but you know theirs nothing much to talk about with him.
Then there's Mark Wahlberg's family.
They're the type of family that's turning you down all the time.
They're not really supporting Wahlberg and they're not a good family.
The mom only really seems to care about Batman.
The only person who's really supporting Wahlberg is Adams.
What I loved about this movie is that how they did thee fight scenes.
It really seemed like you were sitting in the audience or sitting at home watching the fight.
It made you wanna jump up and go YEAH!
The only thing that didn't seem great in this movie was the ending.
The end of the movie seems to fast and that like they had already used up to much time of the movie and that they needed to make it fast, rushed and choppy.
And also that there weren't and giant big surprises in the movie.
It was a little predictable.
So which was better to me, The Fighter or Warrior.
They're both great awesome films, I loved them both but I would have to say Warrior.
But still they're both great.
So now the sco- wait!
What's that?
They're mixing the movies together!
They're taking Bale out of The Fighter and Hardy out of Warrior and making a movie with them both!
And it's called... THE DARK KNIGHT RISES!
And the movie review is only 4 posts down!
Well it must've been amazing!
Anyways the score for The Fighter.
Score=9.0

P.S. Warrior movie review is 2 post down.

Movie Review: To Rome With Love

Ehhh, it was okay.

Rating: R
Time: 112 min
Stars: Woody Allen, Jesse Eisenberg

Really, R?
To me this movie would be PG-13 and if there were PG-7.
Now lets start with the bad things.
ALEC BALDWIN!!!!!!!!!!
His part was unimportant and ruined the movie for me.
It was like they had no use for him.
They just put him in the movie because he was really famous.
But what I bet Woody Allen was thinking was... "OH Woody Allen, he's famous! Let's just put him in the movie for no exact reason." OK!!
So there you go, Alec Baldwin was terrible in this movie.
There are four stories in this movie and half of them have no reason to be in there.
And there are some things in this movie that are so dumb but I can't explain unless I spoil the movie.
This movie really had no purpose to be a movie.
Maybe that's Woody Allen or maybe this movie really did suck that much.
The people in this movie were terrible, not the acting just the characters.
Jesse Eisenberg's character sucked.
But then again I can't say anything unless I spoil it.
I never got really connected with anybody on screen.
They were all butts and I didn't have time to think about one until the next story had already started.
That's another thing I didn't like about the movie.
It felt forced to me.
I thought it went by to fast and I thought that Woody Allen was just forcing some things in there.
Now the good things in this movie.
The humor.
There were some laughs in this movie.
Some of them were really dumb but there were some times I laughed out loud.
I would have to admit, some funny scenes in this movie that were entertaining.
And that's another thing.
The movie was entertaining, I never got bored.
So if your looking for a movie because you've seen every other movie or you like movies that over react everything...
Wait a week and go see Expendables 2
Score=5.0

Movie Review: Warrior

Finally Netflix brings me something great to watch!
Other then this their movies pretty much suck.

Rating: PG-13
Time: 140 min
Stars: Tom Hardy, Nick Nolte

Before I saw this movie I hated Nick Nolte.
I had never seen a movie where he was really acting (not Arthur) I had only seen trailers.
And in most of those trailers I usually thought he was boring or the bad guy.
Then I see Warrior, then I was proved wrong.
Warrior is about these two brothers, one has came back from somewhere and seems like he has a grudge and the other has a family.
The one who has a family (Joel Edgerton) is in a bad place.
He has no money and the bank will be taking his house.
So he joins a boxing tournament for a prize of 5,000,000$ so does Tom Hardy (the brother)
The acting in this movie was amazing.
If you see Inception Tom Hardy is the bright jokey one in the movie.
Then you see this movie and you see how he can really act, you see his dark side.
He is a man with a grudge and he didn't come to make peace and say hello to his brother.
He came to throw some punches.
Joel Edgerton is a great actor in this movie.
You see that he has a family and you see that he has to do what he has to do to protect his family.
Nick Nolte was great in this movie.
He is sober but you could see that he was a drinker and abused his children.
He's one of those characters that is trying to make things right even though he knows that he's already messed up and he can't rewrite the past.
The story and the plot in this movie was amazing.
It had you holding on to your seat the whole way through.
Then when they fight in this movie it's amazing.
Not only the movie but the fights were written perfectly.
It was choreographed perfectly.
At the end of the fights in wanted to make you stand up and start clapping like crazy.
This movie was realistic, you can't say it's not.
You can't say it's fake, wait what'd you say?
You think it doesn't look real?
Well guess what?
YOU'RE WRONG!!!!!!!
And everyone don't be afraid to admit it, but by the end of this movie your stomach starts to have butterflies or you just tear up.
Well at least to anyone who has a soul.
Even my stomach started to hurt.
Well at least until my cousin poked me in the neck.
I recommend this movie to anyone knows a good time.
Score=THE BEST 9.5
